Injectables
What are Injectables?
Injectables help rejuvenate the face and body to turn back time from the effects of aging, sun damage and other external factors that all contribute to our fine lines/wrinkles, decreased collagen and elastin production. Cosmetic injectables can be either neuromodulators such as Botox or derma fillers such as Restylane HA or Sculptra Aesthetic (biostimulator).
These injections are temporary and it is recommended to stay on a maintenance plan to keep yourself looking youthful and confident.

FAQs

Injectables, like Botox, are used to smooth out lines on your face by relaxing the muscles that cause those wrinkles. They're like a pause button for muscle contractions.
Now, fillers, which can be made of hyaluronic acid or biostimulators, are more like a volume boost. They plump up areas on your face where you might have lost fullness due to aging or weight loss. So, injectables smooth things out, while fillers fill things up!

After receiving neurotoxin injections, it's important to follow some guidelines for the best results. First and foremost, avoid pressing on the injection sites to allow the substance to settle properly. Refrain from engaging in vigorous exercise for at least 24 hours post-treatment.
Additionally, do not take NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) for 48 hours since they can potentially lead to bruising. This includes things like aspirin and ibuprofen. Lastly, have patience and resist the urge to contact the clinic immediately after the procedure. Neurotoxins work on various muscles at different rates, so it's best to wait at least 10 days for the full effects to take hold, with the most significant impact typically realized within 10-15 days of the injection.

It all varies by each person and the product being used. Some people see results as soon as 1 day and others take up to 10 days to see the full effect.
